I'm thinking about getting the 7002 double bass pedals. could someone tell me if they are worth it?

I've only played a 7002 once in my life and i think it was pretty decent by comparison to other similarly priced pedals. Just a little heavy
Dont get a 4002.
I got a 4002 and every time i play someone elses double bass pedal i wish i hadnt. It just seems really heavy even after i tweaked it to be as light feeling as possible.

i am thinking of getting the same pedal. i am debating whether to get this pedal or the Iron Cobra JR. my friend has Dw and it pretty good for me. though i played the jr at guitar center, i still dont know. its great for the price. i think they are worth the money instead of buying a $300+ pedal

I have the 7002 by DW and it worked fine (only problem was I wore it out in about 2 yrs of use) I am not a "speed player " but I do use alot of double bass. I have since upgraded to a 9002 and If you have the $ I would highly recomend it

My advice is dont waste your money. If you're going to spend the 100-200 for a pedal... just get the extra hundred and buy a DW 5000 double... or the Yamaha Direct Drive, Pearl Eliminator or (For those that like them) the Iron Cobra pedal.

Its not like its 10,000 dollars more. You usually get what you pay for with hardware. If you do buy a cheaper pedal... how can you complain two months later when you sit down at your buddies DW 9000 and say "MAAAAAN!!!! MY PEDAL BLOWS!!!"

Just keep what you have, put the cash aside, and buy what you want for the long run... not what you want because you can buy it today. Patience is a virtue that will keep you from buying junk because you NEEDED it TODAY and thats all the money you had in your pocket.
