 John Dolmayan
Any John Dolmayan fans out there. I personally like System Of A Down alot. JD has a unique style that is very clean. Any thoughts?

i love that guy's playing and i also love his attitude for the instrument. he's one of few rock drummers that i can really tell his progression from album to album, the guy just keeps getting better. i can't wait to see what the next soad album holds.

System of A Down is one of the most beutifull kick-assest bands in existence and Jon Dolmayan's playing is awesome his talent is similar to that of Ringo Star, not that they sound the same but in that when you listen to the music you'll hear beats that maybe arent extremely comlicated (or maybe they might be) but they are crazy and things you've never thought to put in place he has, and it blows your mind, and you know your a better drummer for just haveing heard that or experienceing that, and that is amazing. His playing is tight solid and dynamic. He is a trully a Bad-ass.

Yea im a big Jon Dolmayan fan. I used to like system alot more than i do know, and i saw them in concert a few years ago and he sounds just as good live. It seems like he sounded great on the first couple albums and then once he got the double bass kit he just sounded better.

Sounds to me like a standard rim-shot that has been compressed.
