 Double pedal opinions
Currently I'm using a Pearl Eliminator double pedal...I've been using this for about a year but not entirely sold on it. I'm looking for a nice quick/smooth reaction and smooth feel. How are the Tama and Yamaha pedals?
Thanks.

the iron cobras might feel a little bulky at first coming straight from the eliminator, but once you get used to it they feel amazing!!!

I use Iron Cobras and love them. Used to play Gibraltar pedals and they weren't bad either. Tough as hell! Peace!

I have a Pearl 120TW i think not sure but i tried the iron cobra and it seems too small for my feet (i'm 12).
Actually i wanted to try it to see if the heeltoe technique was possible with this one and i realized it's a bit small for my feet even with tiny and thin shoes...
I was hesitating beetween the Iron Cobra or the Dw 9000 but i haven't tried the Dw yet...

I like DW 9000s. i'll get one of those when i upgrade from my 4000 lol, now that ive been playing this one for a year and a half its getting to sluggish to keep up with my feet...
out of the two you mentioned though, i'd have to say iron cobras.

The Eliminator gives you the chance to change the cams to set your feel. It' also cool because most of the other "teeth & chain" cams wear out after time. Like every 5 years I need to change my cams on my DW 5000's. The Iron Cobra's are great, and light. Very fast. The DW 5000's are kinda heavy, but you need to change the beaters, they feel good with the Cobra wood beaters. Axis is the lightest "extension of your feet". I've used them for recording, and had no accuracy problems. And my endurance was awesome because they didn't wear me down! Before you ditch $300 worth of pedals, have you tried changing the beaters? Sometimes that's most of the problem. I'ts also way cheaper!
