Post Yoki drums? OSP drums? any good drums?
Has anyone heard of Yoki or OSP electronic drums?

Im trying to get myself an electric set between $500-700, but i dont want a piece of junk.
I'm on Ebay right now looking at this thing called "Yoki" drums, model number DD608, and model DD502 DD608 (its DD608 on the module, but DD502 DD608 in the title of the webpage)
I googled Yoki and all i came up with were a bunch of health food things.
I went searching on Ebay some more and found an OSP drumset. Model number DD502, same exact module as the ones shown for Yoki... with one difference, the model number and company.
Similar structure and pads (the heads were switched on the OSP because it was a used set)

I want to know if anybody knows about Yoki and OSP.
Are they just off brands? (like how DW has Pulse)
Are they good quality?

Does anybody know any good electronic drums in that price range?

any help would be nice

I was wondering about these myself. I was thinking about getting one to use as a practice kit, but can find any opinions posted from someone who owns one or has played one. Anyone have any opinions on these kits?

I own a set of osp dd502. They are decent for a small place or for noise control.
the drums are great with adjustable sounds and settings. However the cymbals are too stiff with sound and not as easy to control.
I was unable to get a good ride sound. If you are looking for a beginner set these are fun. If you need power sound these are not it.
If you add real cymbals and hi-hat these are great. the digital drum sound is great.
They have better cymbals than some i have seen on other sets.
I have used them through a PA system and they sounded great. Limited cymbal capability.
I use them now for my kids to learn time on.
They are not compared to an acoustic set for sound.
Hope this helps anyone.
