Post how old does this look 
i got this snare in 2000 i think, it is my first, but i bought it used, so i was wondering what year it might have been made in

After I funked my drumset at 11 o'clock, i rocked it all night long, and then we swung til the early morning, where I jazzed all over it. The next day my drumset and i did a little reggae, then shuffled, made a little salsa, and then waltzed.

Damn dude, I have no idea how to tell by just looking at it for the year it was brought out. If you really want to know that bad I guess you could probally hit up Pearl on the phone with the serial number of the snare and they'll tell you.

Why do u need to know?

honestly i was just curious, i've had the snare for 7 years and don't even know anything about it other then its a Pearl

id say mid nineties...it doesnt look like an eighties snare but i could be wrong.

^that was kinda my guess too, Pearl and other companies should really put a thing on their sites that shows all their old products that way no one would ever be confused about what type of drum they had

i have one EXACTLY like that i think i bought it in late 94 if im not mistaken?

Hahahaha.. I had that same snare and I sold it a few years ago.

But I guess is between 92 and 95... not sure.

Now I have my Melody Master Mike Portnoy signature snare from Tama Smile
