Happy Birthday, man! I'm 38 and I still can't remember most of my 21st. All I know is that I was in the Navy, and my 21st b-day fell on a day when I was on a Caribbean cruise down in Puerto Rico. I remember lots of rum and beer, Laquia Beach, the best place in the world called 60 Bars, and waking up with sand in my shorts and a wave crashing over me.

Happy Birthday!
...I spent my 21st birthday in class....
It was my first day as a UCLA student.
And I couldn't even get wasted that night cause I had class the next morning.
Cheers! Have a beer for me.

I remember more things than most people who don't indulge in the herb. Trouble is, some of it I don't want to. But then again, I've always had an exceptional memory.

I used to be "straight but not straight edge"
I waited until I was 27 to try any substances at all
Afterwards, I noticed that I saw things from a different perspective
It wasn't the substances as much as it was me opening my mind to different experiences
The only thing I saw when I was straight was a bunch of dumbasses getting wasted and acting stupid
Now that I have seen both sides, I am glad I did what I did
There's no denying the negative affects of drug and alcahol usage
One of the arguments about THC is that it slows your brain down
I will attest to that
I have trouble remembering even the simplest words when I'm smoking
However
All of the ideas that I came up with when I was straight seemed to fly right out of my brain before I could even use them
My mind works so fast and on several different levels that the slowdown is actually welcom
I have accomplished more in one night of smoking in my rehearsal room than a year of trying to figure out all of the different ideas swirling in my head
Chemicals are a tool
Not an answer
As long as you don't think the drugs are thinking for you and you keep a handle on them then you are OK

Interesting take on the matter. Being one (myself) who has A HIGHLY ADDICTIVE SIDE, and has dealt with many issues, I give this advise....
EVERYTHING in moderation, and never forget the drugs' job isn't always to help. It has its own agenda. I am not here to preach, after all I've done that would be hypocritical. Please, just try and keep your head in the game. This applies only to weed and booze, anything else is POISON, AND WILL KILL EVERY THING YOU HOLD DEAR.
