 [seakrieg] - Yamaha
Howdy,
I'm new here so by way of introduction I'll put pics of my two kits up. This one is my main gigging one:
and this one is for bigger stages:
Both Yamahas which I really like. I also just picked up a little DTXplorer which makes a great practice kit. Always had a bit of a grudge against electric kits (being an out and out metalhead - yes, narrow minded I know...), but perfect for rehearsing at home without driving everybody nuts!
Anyway...cheers everybody.

First of all, welcome! Second, very nice kits. Love the color of the 2nd pic. How do you like the AAX's?

Howdy,
I find them okay actually. My preference for cymbals is Paiste...but how much money can I spend? The Sabians are pretty good. I am a heavy hitter so tend to eventually crack most cymbals though these ones just bend a lot!
Cheers

Thanks guys. Sorry about the late reply - couldn't log in. No photos of electric kit yet - it's jammed into my little practice room! Gig was cool (very loud fast and thrashing). Two more this weekend. Oooh la la...life is good.
Cheers

Yamaha Recording with 26x20 BDs... killer. Your kit is just amazing, can't find different words to describe it!

Cheers mate. The black and gold one used to belong to Cozy Powell. I had the good fortune to know him and do some odds and ends for him before he died. Nice bloke he was...what a waste.

Cool kits - both of you.
I always wondered about internal microphones - but still wrestling with external! Been messing around with my Stage Custom, using a Pearl Icon rack and then deciding I don't like it....then using it...etc etc etc. All the fun of the fair. Currently - not using it. I feel ebay coming on soon...
Cheers
