Post Alesis DM5
This is my first time dealing with electric drums and I am trying to add an electric trigger pad to my acoustic kit, and I have been looking at the Alesis DM5 as the module I am going to use. What are everyones thoughts on this, and what kind of trigger pad do I need to buy, or will any one work?

The DM5 is a good unit, any trigger pad should work, but there are better and worse. I have limited experience with other modules, so I can't really compare, but the DM5 is a damn good unit.

I've used the DM-5 for years. It's a great module.

Can I program my own Midi files onto the DM5 that I made on my computer?
