I'm thinking of trading in my 18 and 19 inch AAXplosion for these crashes ... you guys got any input or any experienece with these specific cymbals?

What sound are you looking for? From what I understand these Diamond and the AAX would be on two totally different ends of the spectrum.

The Diamonds and AAX's will blend together, but the Diamonds are closer to the HHX's in sound so if this is the sound you are looking for, I think you will greatly enjoy the Diamonds. If you want a dryer sound, you can go with Ions. The Diamonds will be a fuller sounding cymbal than the AAX's. We can adjust the sound of the Diamonds however you like.

I'm looking for a sound that's between a Zildjian K Dark Med. Thin Crash and the Sabian AAXplosion Crash if that's at all possible. I used to have a K Dark Med. Thin and I loved it. I also enjoy my AAXplosions, but I'm just getting alittle tired of my set up ... I need something new and different.
