 2006 Tama Star-Classic Bubinga/ Hawaiian Koa Exotix
I just purchased this amazing kit recently! I have to say that it is by far the best feeling kit I have ever played. I know that they made 120 of these worldwide & released just 35 in the U.S. !!
I bought this kit from the original owner & it is in mint pristine condition. When the drums arrived i realized that, not only did i have an absolute work of art but... It is numbered #1 out of 120! This is the 1st kit they made in the series of 120. I have been looking for a drum forum to bounce ideas & expand my knowledge on this kit... and any other handy drummer tid bits!
I am currently in the recording studio with my band & let me tell you... this kit is the talk of the town among many sound engineers. It is an absolute dream! The bass drum & snare are like nothing i have ever experienced [/i][/b]

Some guy in the Bay Area close to San Francisco was trying to sell a kit like this for 10,000 with bags and cymbals. or 8500 drums only. ......... I hope you got a good deal. They are very nice looking drums.

damn....just one floor tom probably costs more than all of my drums. just a puestion, how did you come up with the cash for that? As much as I love drums I could never justify spending that much on drums.

Beautiful kit. I bought the matching snare drum (they made 300 in total) and of my 6 snares, it is by far my favorite in sound and looks. I'd love to hear how the whole kit sounds.
