top 5 reasons I love drumming...
1.) It's amazingly fun!
2.) It's creative. You get to piece things together and make music your own.
3.) It never gets boring.
4.) You can fix a broken band, if you're decent yourself.
5.) It's something I'm good at. I've found a place I can relax, and take a deep breath. It's also stress relieving to think I'm good at something. Or to think, I could go somewhere with this. (its not everyday marble collectors get famous. ha)

ha! emericas. do they still even make those? i thought they went by the wayside when the guy went back to etnie. they make good drum shoes.

of course they still make 'em! where ya been? I just love Reynolds 2's, and they do make an exceptional drum shoe...hahaha

1. Its the best!
2. You can add a lot of fancy stuff to a boring song and which'll spice it up

I think of the drumming community like the Breakfast Club ... you can be a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, or a criminal, but if they're all drummers, none of that other stuff matters.

I can't think of a better reason!

1.) Because it is difficult and challenging
2.) Because it brings me closer to the people that I love to be around
3.) Because I don't feel nearly as "at-home" anywhere else than behind a stage
4.) Because you create using a method doing it, and creating is, in my opinion, the reason for existing
5.) Because your drums will never lie to you... and you can never lie to your drums
