I just finished listening to The Weekend by Steve Wariner, which is a nice sweet song in general (There's just something about 80's country!). I noticed the rather voluminous cross stick(rimclick?) during the verses, and was reminded: This is a phenomenon present in most every 80's country song. I would like to seek a general consensus on how this was largely produced: Jam Block, woodblock, sample or a drummer that talented as to produce a consistent rimclick every time.
