Post A little expirementing.....
Just for kicks, I decided to mess around with some various cymbal piggy-backing and found an few awesome combos!

I first stacked a Sabian AA 8" splash on a 10" Sabian O-Zone splash, but not inverted. One would think they would choke the hell out of each other but the result is a trashy, half open, processed hi-hat sound. Perfect for break beats and break down sections in a song. Love using it with my 10" side snare.

Second I took a Portnoy 8" MaxxStack and inverted the bottom cymbal to the Kang and now I have a funky secondary hi-hat.

When I use the two together, accenting back and forth, etc etc etc it added a whole new feel to some of my favorite patterns.

Just though I'd share. Very Happy

Sounds fun. I don't have enough cymbals, or any interesting cymbals to stack. Lame-o. Smile
