 Alphas?
all my friends say alphas are great cymbals for an average price, and they are a great balance in between PSTs and all the top-end stuff. what are your views?

I've heard good stuff about the Alpha's. I would suggest getting to a store that has them and giving them a shot.

My school has 18" marching alphas and we used them as ride cymbals one time and they sound really good. These ones rang a lot but the bell was nice.

I've got to say that in my opinion, the Alpha's are probably the best cymbals I've ever used. Really, great quality if you ask me. Plus, they look awsome as well.

Tough as nails, too. I've never seen a 16" crash stand up the way my Alpha has. Good stuff...

I love my Alpha 12" Splash, sadly it sounds a bit crashy rather than splashy. :/

I have a paiste alpha china and its pretty decent for the money. I didn't get the rock version, I forgot which alpha china it was exactly, but I paid 100 bucks for it brand new and its done me well so far. There good for the price. Better than ZHT's ...

I'd really like to get some - probably a new secondary crash. Anyone any recommendations? I'm thinking about getting a china as well. Are the Alpha chinas good?

I'm always considering Alphas but my general beef with Paiste is that they don't have those brilliant finish wobbly cymbals, and always seem really brittle to me. They do sound nice though, definitely.

Alpha's are amazing, considering the price. Really! They are totally professional - they sound incredible and I don't see how they can sell them for such a low price. I love 'em. You won't be sorry....
