I'm seriously thinking about buying them tomorrow. There are two things holding me back though. The first is obvious. I've never tried them. Second, I really don't want them to break down on me. I don't abuse my gear at all. To experienced users, have yours ever broken? If so, what part was it? I have searched this board for other threads because I am considering the B.O.A. pedals and the DW 9000 as well.

Owned mine for a year+. Gigged/toured heavily during that year and not one durability issue. Sold 'em to a local drummer a year ago. I keep in touch with the guy and he gigs all the time with no problems. I've read about people having problems with them, but I never experienced any. One last thing, you could skip these 3 options you listed and get a used Trick Pro 1-v on ebay. Aside from the BOA, I've owned all of these pedals and the Trick is significantly better than the others.

I've had mine for almost 14 years, they are beat to death, but still play well.

If you are heading to DRT you could hold up until you can try some pedals before making a purchase.

I SHOULD be taking my Longboards with me

I decided to stick with my eliminators for a while. I'm still developing my technique and endurance and I don't want to feel dependent on a pedal. I will get Axis or Trick one day. Twisted Evil

Thanks for the info though. I won't be at DRT unfortunately. My birthday is on the 29th and I have some plans.
