are there any other more listenable songs that have the tom sound you're looking for. i'd be very willing you offer any advice of tunings or head selection but theres just too much random noise and yelling and crap going on to isolate a single tom hit to hear the attack and the tone and resonance afterwards.

i noticed today that you can hear it a lot better on the actual recordings. so thats the only thing i can really give you

I think he tunes them with awesomeness. That’s the only thing I can think of.
