Post Anybody here used the Drumframe drum rack?
I'm seriously considering investing in a rack from Drumframe Ltd but was wondering if anybody here has any feedback on them. I've done a lot of reading up on them and haven't heard one bad thing about them. They're expensive, but it sounds like they're worth the cost. Any thoughts?

I think your set up would be quite limited, But if thats not a problem, then do it. I think they look pretty cool.

It looks pretty cool, and I say buy it... But consider it too.
It's pretty pricey. Neutral

I know a guy locally who toured with one.

Are you setting up in a permanent location, or would you be moving it a lot?
This guy had to bring a tech even for smaller scale local shows, that rack is a monster!
But it supposedly takes the weight off your legs and is better for your back. (Except for when you move it)

I think if it's for using primarily at home, or if you are going to be touring with a crew, it would be fine. If you play regularly with a band or bands where you are responsible for your own set up and tear down, as well as transportation, you may find it cumbersome.

It'd be moved a lot and, since I'm not Flo Mounier, I don't have a tech (unless my bass player counts) so I'd be the one moving it. That aside, it looks like it'd be worth the trouble; and the $$$.

I'd definitely do a search online if you haven't yet, especially if you aren't able to try it out before buying.
I hear the term 'cumbersome' come up a lot in connection with this rig, but it still might be worth it to ya- a lot of drummers seem to like it.
