In the discussion on Time Signatures on this board (http://www.drumsmylife.com/time-signatures-vt4480.html), there was some confusion over how to count 8th note meters like 7/8 and 9/8. There was some debate over the existence of the "6th Note", which led me to create this lesson on the artificial grouping of 8th Notes.

yeah, I always break odd time signatures into pieces of 2 and 3 beat long segments, be it 8th notes or quarters.
