2-ply heads can be tuned tight or loose and played hard or soft and you’ll hear every beat. Recommended for toms in any situation. Excellent for a “dry” snare drum sound.
These are a huge upgrade from the heads that I was using before (Evans G2 Clears w/ Studio rings). These are awesome paired w/ classic clears on the resonant side. These don’t need any sort of muffling and they are awesome for live playing. Recommend these for any type of situation.
