The Genera is a 10mil, single-ply head with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside that “floats” with the head, eliminating excessive overtones. Additional dry vents eliminate stray harmonics.
I have this head on my snare drum, and I love the sound it makes. It’s so far lasted me almost a year, and I’m sure it’ll keep lasting. Overall a very great head.
