Hammered shell. Classic lugs. Super Sensitive snares. 6.5″ x 14″.
I bought a ludwig LB419KT which is the same as this but with the tube lugs instead of the classic ones, it also came with a P-71 SS Snare Strainer instead of a P-85. With good tuning and proper snare tension you can achieve a tight jazzy ‘pop’ or a massive sizzle. I play a lot of zeppelin stuff so ludwig is really the only choice I can make, and I know that he used a supraphonic, but I tried a supraphonic and this together and I’m sorry all zep fans, but this one won, it totally blew me away, I bought it right then and there, buy this drum and I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.
