The Pacific Drums by DW Maple Snare with Wood Hoops features an all-maple shell with maple hoops and chromeplated brass tube lugs. 5-1/2″ x 14″.
I bought this drum with hopes that I would receive a snare that has an okay jazz sounds, okay rock sounds, etc. What I got was much different. If you like jazz, this drum is very sensitive, and with some one ply heads, sings like a bird. Don’t let this trick you, though. If you like rock, it’s got some serious sounds as well. The factory heads are good enough for a week or so, but I’d replace them ASAP. For the price, you can’t beat this drum or find a classier look.
