The Roland PD-8 Dual-Trigger Pad is excellent for toms and hi-hats. They allow rim shots and edge sounds with the TD-6V module. 8″ diameter.
For a small studio space, you cannot beat the sound, quality and playability of the Roland PD-8 drum pads. They take up very little room, and when combined with the TD-3S set… you have a perfect match. I got an extra one of these to fill out my kit.
