MAKE sure its a new model.
What's wrong with the old ones?
One of my buddies is selling his two singles, and I was thinking about it, but what's wrong with the old models?
A bunch of things. Including
-U joints that break
-A drive shaft that slips
- Rubber pads that fall off (without them you need to wedge something in between the pedal and the bass drum hoop.)
I still use my old non-longboard axis pedals on my pearl set. I got the the threads for the set screw that hold the drive shaft reinforced with steel, got the broken round u-joint replaced with the newer more square-shaped ones, and i jam a cymbal felt in between the base and my bass drum hoop so i can clamp the pedal to the hoop.
My pedal works very well. just dont think you should have to do all that. I'm yet to have a single problem with my black longboards
