Ok, when it comes to buying online, ALWAYS make sure you have some ide aof who you're dealing with. Avoid dodgy looking sites.

As for Thomann, I have bought loads from them and I can reccomend them. Great prompt delivery, all in order, no damage etc.

As for buying a drum kit online, the only drawback is you can't actually see what it sounds like until you've got it.

Do you know what you're going for?

a studio i know bought everything for a live rig they have as a in house pa at a local venue. (barring speakers that they already had, 4 bass bins and 4 tops)

delivery was 10 quid, came loaded on 2 pallets Smile

literally all the amps, desk, eq's, monitors, mics, cables etcetc.

luckily it arrived the day before the first gig for a mental sharpsh installation Smile

I personally have never bought online because I prefer to see and hear what you're getting before you actually spend a ton on it.

Buying online is nice because you can usually find good deals. And, your choices are virtually limitless. But it has its draw backs. Being able to play and hear the musical instrument you are purchasing is extremely valuable. Some websites have sound clips, but most don’t. I would inquire about the return policy and who would cover the shipping costs if something did have to be returned. And if you do end up returning something, get insurance.
