Pretty cool band.

Their latest album has some pretty ZZ Top-ish instrumentals on it. Electric Worry is a great song and is loads of fun to play.

Their drummer is pretty good too.

What do you guys think of them?

ah Clutch is awesome! I had the opportunity to see them perform live in Corpus Christi and man it was great! Jean-Paul Gaster is seriously a great great drummer.. quite underrated IMO.

they seem pretty cool to me-
super-heavy at slow- to mid- tempos, they've got some really pounding stuff

I saw them about 10 years ago when "The elephant riders" was out. They're interesting to say the least. Their drummer reminded me of Bohnam. I think the smallest crash cymbal he had on his kit was a 20" crash.

Not bad. A cross between ZZ-Top, Blues Traveler, and Bob Seager with aliitle bit heavier punch. The drummer does seem to have a Bonham style.

These dudes are heroes around here in my neck of the woods. I've been going to see them live since 93 or so. If you prefer some of their more hardcore influenced stuff, check out Transnational Speedway League, Pitch Fork EP, and Passive Restraints EP. Great band, JP is a human metronome, so damn tight. It's funny, he works at his parents surf, skate, and bike shop in Frederick Maryland when he's off tour, so every once in a while when I need a part for my bike he'll be there.
