OK, so to make a long story short some of you may remember me posting about having wrist pain when I play awhile back...well, it turns out that I tore my SL ligament and will be having wrist surgery next month...seeing as I will have wires and pins in my wrist and be in a cast up to my elbow for four months, followed by months of rehab, plus the fact that I am short on money and the drums are just sitting in my room taking up space, I have decided to sell my entire kit with all of the gear I own, most of it not even a year old...this is a great chance for one of you guys to upgrade into a pro-level kit for a killer price and to do so in one fell swoop...
I am going to let you guys have first dibs on the gear before I post it on craigslist next week.
A few things to note...
1) Please respect my wish to sell the kit in it's entirety for the sake of time and convenience...I just don't have the time or patience to sell the kit piece by piece...I already work fifty hours a week and would rather take a loss and sell everything to one serious buyer than have to ship the gear out to twenty different people...so please, do not ask me how much certain single pieces will cost, I will simply ignore your email if you do. If I find that I cannot sell the gear in its entirety (shells, hardware, cymbals, cases) than I will entertain the idea of parting the gear out, but for now I would like to see if I can sell it all to someone who is looking to upgrade their entire setup quickly and painlessly.
2) The kit consists of a 14"X 7" real abalone C&C custom maple snare (blue with white centerstripe), a 12"X8" blue acrylic C&C custom rack tom with geiger mounts, a 16"X14" blue acrylic C&C custom floor tom with geiger mounts and legs, a 22"X20" blue acrylic C&C custom virgin kick drum with black maple hoops...note that all shells feature offsett lugs and either C&C or Geiger hardware...this kit took three months to make and cost over $3,800 new (just the snare was $1000). These drums sat in their hardshell custom sized SKB cases while not in use and are in fantastic used condition...I would say 8.5 out of 10 cosmetically...as far as how they sound, anyone who has ever heard or played C&C's know they are the cleanest and loudest sounding drums on the market...this is by far and away the loudest, best sounding kit I have ever played. Now for the cymbals...they consist of a pair of 17" and 18" Paiste Signature Series Power Crashes, 15" oversized Paiste 2002 Series Sound Edge High-Hats, a 19" Wuhan Traditional China that is huge and monstrous sounding, a "20 Paiste 2002 series Deep Full Ride, and a small Stagg Ice-Chime with an unlathed black top that rings for ages...these cymbals are all FLAWLESS...you will not find a dent, ding, keyhole, or crack in any of these...aside from some dust, dry blood specks, and light stick marks, these cymbals are in LIKE NEW CONDITION, easily a 9/10 cosmetically (every single one). To try and describe how utterly orgasmic these cymbals sound would be impossible...let's just say that there is a reason why Paiste Signature and 2002 series cymbals are some of the most expensive and the most coveted cymbals on the market...just these cymbals alone cost me almost $2000 new. Also included will be a Pearl Powershifter Eliminator Double Pedal with included carrying case and adjustable cams in great shape(red, black, and white cams included), a Pork Pie bicycle throne that is blue with a velvet zebra-striped top that matches the kit beautifully and that you could sit on for hours (also in almost brand new condition), all of the necessary hardware for the entire kit (all Pearl or Gibraltar hardware, for every single drum and cymbal on this kit), a tama rhythmwatch rw105 metronome, a rolls personal monitor (for drummers who play with in-ear monitors or would like to start doing so), a few new as well as used pairs of Vater and Vic Firth sticks, a pair of Ahead Aluminum Joey Jordison sticks, a Vic Firth Practice Pad, a pair of Vic Firth Isolation Headphones, an Evans tension drum tuning key, and some sweet DVD's and books.
3) Once again to see pics of everything go to my myspace page at WWW.MYSPACE.COM/VR4DRUMMER and click on the "pics" tab on my profile...you will see a picture album titled "drums and guitar for sale"...click on that and enjoy the view...
Just so you guys know, I have spent over $7000 on all of the gear...for those of you who don't believe me, feel free to do some research and you will know that I am not BSing you at all...I know that I am going to take a huge loss but if I can make some of my initial investment back plus get all of this gear out of my small bedroom and not have to invest hours of my time trying to sell it than I will be a happy camper...so....drumroll please.....(no pun intended)......as for the price of everything......the first offer I get over $4,000 TAKES IT ALL....email me at alex_bendana@yahoo.com with offers or questions, as long as the question isn't something along the lines of "how much will you sell "X" part for"....like I said, I really want to avoid the hassle of parting it all out so for the time being please don't ask, you will just be wasting your time. Buyer will pay shipping, and I will only accept Paypal, a Cashiers/Bank Check, or a Money Order. Time to see who is going to get one of the most killer deals ever haha...
