 custom front bass drum head
Some time in the near future i want to either get a cutsom logo bass drum head with a cross on it or my friend who is good at art was going to paint on the head i already have, I have two questions.
What websites are good for getting front bass drum heads with logos and such?
If I have my friend any suggestions on what he should use?

there's tons of custom head sites out there... just be prepared to drop about $100.
if your buddy was to paint your current head, i'd suggest acrylics but it's almost guaranteed to look like shit... unless you have a coated head...

my band logo is simple, so i did mine with masking tape and spray paint! ;

almost forgot...
custom vinyl decals work great too...
i've used them a ton of times and not only do they professional... they can easily be removed and, depending on the size, would run you between $1-$25.

the artist we use has been ill though, and we haven't completed the project yet-
but I plan to file a report when we get the head in hand.

if you're going the painting route a good idea is to use a clear head... paint to logo on the BACK side, let it dry, then paint it black over that. or white or whatever. gives a cool glossy look
