Post ddrum4
Anybody here have hands-on experience or input on this thing? I've had an Alesis dm4 and dm5 but an intrigued by the ddrum. I've read up on them so I have a bunch of facts, specs and data, but I'd like to know how they play, are they reliable, are they worth the price people are asking for them, etc....
thanks a bunch.

They're pretty bad-ass, but do far too much stuff then what I need it for, and I couldn't justify the price (which is 5x what I paid for my DM5). You could probobly get a TD-20 for less

I currently have a ddrum4SE module and I absolutley love the samples on it . I guess it really depends on what you want to do with a module of whether or not it's worth the price tag . I can honestly say it was money well spent in my case with the one I have on my electronic kit . I also really like the ability to remove and upload just what sound samples that I want to have on the modules memory . The tracking on it as far as triggering goes is great in my opinion and works well with various drum triggers with minimal tweaking if any is needed . Another thing I really like about ddrum's samples on these modules is that they aren't saturated down with tons of effects making them sound like a drum machine . I have actually done some demos a few years back with another ddrum4 module and people swore that the cymbals used on the demos were real .
