Post Does anyone use an older model DTX2..technical question here
I pretty much know my kit's module inside and out but i'm at a stale mate here. Regarding the 'reject, special reject' edit function.. which is used to cancel out one pad when hitting the next pad to prevent sounds bleeding into eachother...(on a regular drum kit setting..this function is used with the hi-hats settings) I cant seem to get it straight. I'm using a "strings' voice on about 5 different pads at one time... to use kinda like a keyboard or synthesizer...i'll hit the first note on one pad.. but when i hit the second pad(or note), i want the first pad to cancel out..to replicate zero sustain.. i've done it a while back but cant seem to figure it out again.. I know it has to do with the Reject edit function.. and the manual is very hard to follow..at least to me.. anyone know what I'm talking about?
