drum triggers
i hav never used a drum trigger, and i want to know what they are and if i need them

you us them to "electrify" your drums. instead of using mics you use triggers to run through processor or module (lots of ways to run it) but basically to run your drums through something where you can pretty much program the sound of your drums.
they turn your expensive acoustic set into a good looking set of electrics and the sound that you pay a ton of money for is useless because youre using processed sounds from a brain. unless youre absolutely flying on your drums triggers probably arent for you.
