dw double pedal

i wanted to learn double bass and dont want a cheap piece of crap so are the DW 7002PT pedals pretty good or is there something better in the price range of about $200-250?

I heard the DW 5000 are faster/better/smoother. I suggest you try out every pedal you can get your hands on 'cause pedals are important.
It seems Axis pedals are the 'best', though its all a matter of opinion
