Post Even articulation
I was listening to a recording of myself and I noticed that my articulation's a bit uneven sometimes. For example, when I play doubles on my bass drum, the first one sounds louder than the second. Any advice on how I could fix this problem?

most likely the louder one is your stronger foot. consistancy is one of the keys to solid drumming. you have to build that weak foot up to as close as you're strong foot as possible. a great way to do this is use you're left kick pedal as you're main kick as much as possible. you're right foot got to where it is by using it. time to catch the weak foot up. but evenness comes with time, practice and attention to detail. and its really good you notice something like this. noticing a problem is the first step to fixing it. i cant tell you how many drummers i've heard play the same thing you're explaining and dont notice it or take the step to fix it. so just use that weak foot as much as possible and play lots of straight 16th notes with the kicks focusing on the articulation until you feel like you're legs are on fire. build that weaker muscle up and you'll be set.

Overcompensate on the weaker limb. Play the weaker one consciously stronger than the "lead" limb and eventually that will level things out.
