For a new kit: what material?

i have had my kit for a quite a while and have saved up to buy a new one - and i am tired of maple. i started a poll for fave materials and a lot said birch, but could I look completely outside of wood - like a trick aluminium etc. there are so many options - what are your views?

dude get acrylic its soo good!! if i can afford it Razz

peace do some really nice acrylic kits for just over £1k have a look Very Happy
