I just bought a mapex pro m used and unfortunately its heads are not good. It's fusion sizes and i want it to sound relatively dampened. I asked my drum teacher, and he suggested aquarian performance II's. what would you suggest? Thanks in advance

I played one recently at a jazz gig i had, it had aquarian responce II's with evans e-rings it sounded so niceee, pretty damp sound if thats what ur lookin for id recommend em
