I need some help, I want to get some pinstripes because Im looking for a head that get can high tones. Right now Im using evans hydraulics and I guess they're better for lower tones. I've tried tuning for higher tones with them but I guess they're arnt meant for that. So are pinstripes what Im looking for? Im looking for those hight, tight sounding tones, so with my description could anyone possibly help me out tell me what resonant and batter sides would best fit my description? And tell me how tight I should tune the batter side and resonant (depending on what heads you recommend).

you should try some remo clear emperors on the tops and remo clear ambassadors on the bottoms.

How tight should I tune the heads(top and bottom)?


Top tighter than the bottom or bottom tighter than the top for the tone Im looking for?

i'd go...batter head a little tighter than the reso. but still have them both fairly tight.
