I've not heard of that brand, but if you like the kit go for it. My guess is, is that it isn't worth any more than that, but hey, it's only three hundred bucks, so you wouldn't be out that much. Saying that though, there are name brand kits out there with hardware, for about twice that price, that sound great and look good also. It's all about you, and what you like. Just make sure that it's going to hold up well. As far as the covering goes, it will change the sound somewhat, but if you like it, then that doesn't really matter, does it? You can always recover them if you want. Try doing a search on the net for the company that made them, if you haven't already done so. Keep in mind, your not paying much for them...and you get what you pay for. Hope this helps.

Hey!

I'm familiar with the Network line. A music strore I used to lend a hand in carried their line. It's an entry level line consisting of pedals and 5-piece kits. If I were you'd I'd google "Network Percussion" or atleast try to find a little more about an average price. Back when we were selling them you could get a full kit for around $499.99 CAD. And we were usually overpriced (small town).

For $500 I'd keep my eye in the local classifieds, craigslist, and ebay! Good luck!
