 How long you been playing?
I thought it would be interesting to find out about how long people have been playing. Myself, I'm a young'un! Almost four years.

There are several threads on this already, but I suppose I'll let this one go.
As of March 15th, I've been playing for 35 years.

28 years. I count from when I started taking lessons. Otherwise it would be closer to 33 or 34 years.

About 5 years total. (I took a looooong break in there, and have only picked up the sticks again in the past six months.)

About 46 years...
there was no definite starting point.
There was always a drum kit set up.
I just sat down and played and it kinda came natural 'cause of my Dad.
later, I got the education from teachers and self research.

I didn't start until I was 13. For some reason stating I've been playing for 24 years and seeing it on a post makes me feel old.
