 I BROKE MY FRIGGIN EMAD!!!!!!!
I broke the first ply of my EMAD2 bass head right in the center. I even had an EQ patch on it!!! Still sounds alright, but it bugs me though. They are supposed to be super durable and I have only had it a few months!!!

True that. Sonic Hammers, the Iron Cobra beaters and round wood beaters hurt heads more than normal ones, especially normal felt ones.
Actually that might all be wrong. I'm so fuzzed right now.

I am using the Pearl 900 series pedal and the beater that came with i, with the plastic side hitting the head.

Do you dig into the head and stop dead or do you let the beater leave the head after a stroke?
