I need the low down on sabian xs20
tell me how they sound. to me, they look like circles they cut out of scrap metal. I have very little cash and these looked good. I need to know every good thing, and every bad thing. thank you.

best sounding "budget" cymbals on the market
I'm a Zildjian snob but would buy these before any budget Zildjian (or any other brand)

Very nice mid-priced pies. Your best bet would be to find them in stock somewhere near you and give them a listed. You can also listen to sound files at Sabian's website.

I got a 16" xs20 rock crash lying around somewhere. And that used to sit between an 18" A custom projection crash and a 20" K custom dry ride. It actually mixed quite well. Darker than the A custom. Not a bad cymbal for its price.

I used to play nothing but XS20. Great cymbals. I still use an 18 crash ride. And I have HH and AA. it's a great cymbal. VERY nice prices, great durable and quality cymbals. I give them 2 thumbs up.

they sound pretty sick for the price

I have their 18" china and I love it! It's dark and a little gongy when struck for low volumes, but it has a real strong cutting attack at high volumes.

I've tried the ride I wasnt too thrilled with it but for the price it's good and their 16" inch crash is great for a budget cymbal!

I actually own a xs20 14" medium thin crash. They are very good cymbals. They are made of B20 bronze and are cast, not sheet cymbals. it is my favorite cymbal in my lineup. It cuts through the music very well in my band. However, I don't have much to compare it too, as my next highest quality cymbal is a pst5 ride.

I'd go for PST5s instead, but that's your choice. Both cymbal lines are affordable and I doubt you'll be disappointed with either!

Definitely go with the xs20's instead of pst5's. The xs20's are B20 bronze vs. the pst5's B8 bronze. B20 is much better.
