I Need to play Silently HELP!
Hey guys, sorry if this has been talked about before (I'm new here).
I'm 16 and have been playing for about 5 yrs now. I'd been just touching my drums maybe once a week, but over the past 2 months I can't get enough!!
I've been playing ALOT and so far there haven't been any complaints (except for my sister, lol). The only problem is my mom teaches piano in the room just down the hall four days a week for hours on end. So I can only play for about 2hrs most days and I'd REALLY like to practice more : (
I've been looking at different drum mutes, but keep hearing good and bad reviews about them.
Are there any Mutes out there that Really mute the sound?
btw, I can't afford an EL kit right now.
Thanks in advance for the Input!

you'll never get rid of the sound completely, after all can you name anythign in the worlds that doesn't make a noise when you hit it? ive got qr silencers, they're really good.

remo do a pad kit. Its kind of like an electric kit in the way its set out. But it makes no sound and is pretty cheap!

Thats the ticket. Mesh heads will be more silent than any pad, and will also feel more like a real drum than any pad.

i used mesh heads for years, and they allowed me to practice without bugging my neighbors. highly recommend them!

It sounds like mesh heads are the way to go! How much do they cost? and what about cymbals?
Thanks
