 I'm Thinkin' of New Heads
Yup. The title pretty much explains it. What do y'all think:
Evans EC2 Coated Tom Batters
Evans EC Tom Resonants
Evans EMAD Coated Bass Batter
Evans EMAD Black Bass Resonant
Evans EC Reverse Dot Snare Batter
Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side
Do y'all think that'll all sound good?

Yup and i would choose the same exact heads and the same exact models too. TYour good head selector and that sounds good on my drumset right now so ti should sound good on yours!

EMAD 2 doesn't have coated...
Once Evans releases a coated EMAD 2, I'm all for it!

I never liked coated heads, they never give enough punch. I wonder how The edge control rings on the resonant heads will sound. You may be onto something

Thanks!
It's Pearl VLX Vision in Amber Fade. My second drumset. Although I wouldn't really call my first a ''set'' since it was so terrible.

i dont like the ec reverse dot, it couldnt get it to sound right
for the snare batter head, i would go with the coated GENERA DRY, its super nice!

don't get the reverse dot snare! i absolutely loved the sound i got out of it, it is my favorite sound ive got so far. but after two practices, TWO PRACTICES the dot starts to peel from the inside. it is just a sticker, and it starts at the edges and slowly works to the middle and when that happens every time you hit it flops around and gives you a dull thud sound. so i took the head off and pushed the dot back into contact with the head, but after one song it is the same way it was. after doing this 2 or 3 times i get tired and just peel the stupid dot off. i put the head back on and it was then exactly the same as using a EC2 coated head on a snare. i don't know if you guys have ever used a tom head on a snare but it SUCKS!!!
wasted $20 on it.... ticked me off.
