Istanbul makes good cymbals, and they're much cheaper than Sabian or Z's. They are a little too thin for me though...I'd break them in a couple of months. That should be a nice cymbal if you're looking for a bright sound with fast decay.
Personally I use Z-Customs and Wuhan China's.

I don't know about traditionals, but I've used an Alchemy rock splash 8' and it sounded great. Very bright and cutting. Broke it after a few years of hard rock/metal bashing. Since Alchemy and Agop are the same manufacturer, you will be satisfied with the quality of the sound. The problem is- what sound are you looking for?

A friend of mine uses traditional splash 9. It is perfect IMO
Here is a sound sample of it's brother - Istambul Mehmet splash 9

I've been playing my Agop Traditional 9" Splash for 3 or 4 years now and I wouldn't change it for anything. It has all the atributes that I like in a splash - it's dark, it's short and blends well.
If you wish to listen to how it recorded on my demo session check this song out:
