Post Jason Bonham
I see alot on John and rightly so we was incredible, but I never see much on Jason. I thought he did some great work with Foreigner. And he still out there grinding away with his own band. Must be hard to have a father like John Bonham no matter how good you are.

I agree, not much on Jason. But I don't think it's hard for him,
he celebrates his father's legacy with pride. I've heard him playing on some
Bonzo/Zep tracks and he smokes almost like his dad.

And he is going to get his chance to proove his worth when he plays on the throne his dad did behind Led Zeps reunion!

Granted he will be playing his fathers parts and will come in for a lot of criticism, but he will also be able to show everyone he is a great player in his own right.

Jason's cool... he took his father's influence and combined it with his own style instead of trying to copy it, or carry on a legacy.
It's impossible to live up to a legend... and I give him tons of credit for not trying to & just doing his own thing.

Jason is an awesome drummer in his own right, regardless that Bonzo was his father.

ya know, i've often thought that Jason would have been a great
fit for Page and Plant when they did their Live CD and tour back in '94 was it?

Michael Lee did a good job, but Would have been cool to see
Jason with them

Jason Bonham has a nice style all his own. Granted....his father left a legacy that will probably always overshadow anything Jason does....but he his an awesome drummer in his own right. As far as comparisons to his father...one of my top 3 favorite drummers.....it's a shame...because Jason Bonham's should be given his own respect. As far as I'm concerned...he's proven himself over and over again. And that's coming from a drummer who has the John Bonham 3 circle symbol tatooed on his arm! Smile

Holy Shit dude I haven't seen that one. I didn't know him and Sabatian done anything together before that VH1 show a year or two ago.

I completly agree, awesome film with some awesome songs, awesome vocals aswell i cant get over that lol, but more to the point awesome drumming done by Jason, even if it is complety unlike his Father's style, which he has copied and built on top of, hard to find words for his style so please try not to criticise me there.
