I do love john, but, a ride that is in my opinion better but in the same sort of style, would be the meinl sound caster custom mega bell ride.

The Mega Power Ride sounds completely different from any RUDE cymbal, it's surprisingly beautiful.

That thing looks like it would be the Best of Man.
I've played the 2002 Mega Power Bell Ride version and that thing was awesome (outside of a closed 1car garage that is) but I'm curious about just how much power this cymbal has now that its a RUDE as well....Probably like a Super Cymbal 5 LMAO

It may sound like crap in person in a house but it probably sounds amazing miked up or through live music (cause you probably won't even need mikes with that thing till you're playing stadiums). Can't judge a cymbal by one solo take. Put that thing through loud bass and distorted guitar and the clong clong sound ain't there.

I have a paiste 20" 3000 rude medium from the 80's that I used as a ride cymbal for years. it's kind of in between the weight of the rude crashes and rides. It's got a bit of wash, stick definition without sounding clangy, and it's very crashable.
