Has anyone had experience with this product i'm thinking of getting it so I can have a mic always in my bass drum. At the moment at band practice My bass drum is too quiet I have a tried a few things different heads muffling ect but it still lacks what I want. In the studio and mic'd live it's great so with the right device it would be a good plan.

My main question is:
has anyone tried it?
is this the best solution I know there are other's like may interenal?

They gave me one of those when i won the wfd. Its mounted in my pearl bass drum. Its great. It stays in there all the time, you can pack your drums and just have the mic chillin in there. it isolates it from the rest of the drumand lets position the mic in any position at any angle you can think of. great product.
