During which period? I know he used Pinstripes on his toms for a long time. You might be able to find some info on Remo's website.

you are not going to get your drums to sound the same as his just by using the same heads... you should watch the vid on all the mics and eq they was using for recording the black album.

i know they wont sound exactly the same beacuse of the mics and stuff. but they should sound similar i was watching cunning stunts, and it looked like he used coated ambassadors and a emperor x snare

lol if you only knew how many mics he uses for recording. i think on a documentary it said he used 53 mics in a huge building just spread all over the place to get the sound on Enter Sandman.
sorry, but i don't think you will even get CLOSE to similar.
everybody knows lars, and they either hate or love him.
but EVERYBODY agree's he has some of the best sounding drums. you cant imagine how much time and money was spent on getting those drums to sound the way they do. but they do sound truly amazing.

black album? i think that was where his set sounded best
