 lower end istanbul....?
jee.
so I've been looking to expand my cymbal use. see what sounds good and what I liked. I've tried sabian and zildjian and I'm lookingto try istanbul.
BUT
I do know I don't want the lower end quality. I know there's sabian b8 and zildjian zbt...but whats the lower end of istanbul?
I don't really want them
what should I go with?
thank you!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any low-end Istanbuls. I think they're all cast bronze, which is gonna cost ya.

I think they have a "lower" end line, though. They have Istanbul Agop, then there's Alchemy (seperate websites). But Alchemy seems to be, like the "beat-em up in your metal band" cymbals "because we made em' cheaper." You know?? But I've never played them. Most of the Istan Agop Cymbals look like they'd truely have a unique sound (mostly raw). Definitely something to look into...

You can find low-end cymbals in Istanbul's product range, well Alchemy's to be exact - Alchemy msx(brass), Alchemy A.R.T(b , Alchemy pro A.R.T.(b20, but semi-pro )
