 [m/xush] new Po Boy kit
Po Boy Drums recently sent me a maple/birch/kokko blend 5pc to check out in the studio. Set it up last night, hoping to have some tracks ready soon.
Really sounded nice; brought out the inner Bonzo - kind of a vintage flavor to it.
* 22 x 16 BASS
* 16 X 16 FLOOR
* 13 X 11 RACk
* 12 X 10 RACk
* 14 X 6.5 SNARE
w/ Turk Masters Cymbals

Very to the 260th power nice drums! I've said this to others before but it applies here too: Like a work of art man!

our bassist and guitarist are getting pretty handy at photography too, lately.
I forget who took what, but they've both got awesome cameras and a good eye:

Beautiful kit.
How do those axis shortboards feel? Do you play a lot of double kick?

thanks guys~
I really don't play a LOT of double-bass, I ended up taking off the slave about half-way thru the sessions. I don't think I recorded any for the album. I pretty much only use them on the road (for solos and some Rush medleys we do)
The Axis pedals are my fav, as many of my other posts will show. I bought a Longboard a while back for comparison, but I really like the shortboards better, personally. I also have a single X model that I use with a Roland KD7 pad.
I know people love the Longboards, but for my style I prefer the regular small boards.
