Sounds absolutely wonderful...and no problems with the bass mind you...
I have an EMAD on kick with a pillow inside and 2 timpact badges and its still very loud and very thumpy
with a bit of resonance for good flow and such.
Try tightening your bass head?
Try using DW beaters...there a charm

How are you liking that Saluda crash? I've been looking into getting some new cymbals for some time now, but I don't want to get any without doing my research first. What do you like about it, and what do you dislike about it?

Its made like a z custom crash and sound more airy with more projection than a z custom crash which at the time i really wanted. Next cymbal purchase will be a much thinner purchase instead of rock weight
